“When we booked our E-bike tour we were under the impression that we would have a tour guide for the volcano and we in fact did not. This was our first time ever being at the volcano and we were not familiar with any of it. The company did provide us with a map of the park. It took us about 45 minutes to finally find the place we were supposed to get our park passes which cut into our time. One of the E-bikes kept shutting off randomly as we were riding. Overall it was a good experience.”

The highways were busy and a bit scary at first but the vehicles were very accommodating to those on bikes as long as you stick to the sides of the road and adhered to the parks regulations there were no problems. The audio/map app was a bit hard to navigate, but trails and paths were easily found. Lots of maps on the way to follow. The views of the volcano spectacular. Beautiful, fun and exciting adventure. Would do it again. The e-bikes from Hilo on Bikes, were top notch and easy to operate. Fun fun activity.…”

“Getting the bikes was easy and the staff were very helpful. We couldn't get our bikes on the day we booked them due to bad weather (we booked them weeks ahead of time), so they were very flexible and assured us we could get them the next day. The experience was a lot of fun, and it could have been better had I been able to easily navigate the hilly terrain on the island, which I couldn't without some difficulty. But even so we enjoyed the experience and it allowed us to cover a considerable distance around the lakes as well as visit the villages that surround them. Loved it!!”
