“The sights were beautiful and would definitely receive 5 stars plus. However, our bus driver was on his 4th time for this tour and wasn't top notch as we had expected. He only talked when a question was asked for the most part and then didn't always have an answer. He apparently wasn't that familiar with the route, as we turned around often and he had to make phone calls to determine where to go at times. He made us rotate seating all the time even though most didn't care one way or another. And, he was so worried about time without taking into consideration that he had gotten lost…”

Review of the private Hawaii Volcanoes National Park Eco Tour, with itinerary details, guide quality, price value, hiking tips, and practical advice.

“Erik gave us an amazing, educational tour! This company caters to people who want to learn about the science of the volcano and the ecosystem that exists on its slopes. He covered volcanic activity, the flora that exists in this challenging environment, the history of the park, and even lots about the native Hawaiian culture related to the volcanos. We peppered him with questions, and he was happy to answer them all! Couldn't be happier with the experience. Be aware that this is mostly a walking tour, which actually helps with seeing everything that you can't see from a bus.”

“We just had the greatest time. We were worried 6 hours may be too long, but it almost didn’t feel long enough. It was a rainy, overcast, cloudy day, and we still couldn’t have had a better time! Sarah is so knowledgeable, fun, and relatable! She was able to adjust to make sure that even in the midst of a cloudy day, we got a real Maine experience. I don’t think I could recommend this enough!”

“Great Experience. Picked up right on time at the end of the pier by LIzzie -- Awesome guide -- Drove about 30 minutes to point to put in raft -- issued rubber boots -- concise safety explanation -- Off we went on our 2 hour river trip -- water was rushing in some places, but very shallow -- We only saw one Eagle -- no other wildlife until we left our raft and realized we scared a moose and her baby who jumped into the river to escape our arrival. Thought we would see much more wildlife -- only disappointment - Otherwise fun and entertaining day -- Ended with a…”

The best thing about this small group tour was the personalized touches that Ryan provided throughout the day. I highly recommend this tour!”
