At 23h the night before we were informed that pick up is at 6h10. We were just about to go to bed, so we were “lucky” to have received this message just in time. Pick up at 6h10 means no breakfast at hotel. We were picked up by a cab and brought to a bus station. “Hiking - walking - biking - canoeing, it was still a pretty sporty day. The last two mountains are to be climbed by climbing steep rocks (you still need to be in good physical health). Bringing good sneakers or walking shoes is a plus. It is an excursion that is still worth the detour because the Viet Haï village and nature are peaceful and you feel far from the tourist crowds. A small boat picked us up at the small port, which made the end of the day very pleasant and gives charm to this navigation in the bay.”

“Worst excursion we have ever done in Vietnam. Driver drove super dangerously, was busy on his mobile phone the whole time and was calling while it was raining super hard. The guide himself fell asleep during the ride, which made us almost miss a stopover. During the tour, the guide actually knew nothing to tell and gave us no extra information about the sights. His English was also almost unintelligible. We also drove all the way to Van Long Park only to realize there that the tour could not continue due to the bad weather.
